Below is the story of Sam and David and some tips they give to couples planning their wedding day!

Tell me about your The Beginning!

Dave & I met through E-Harmony and had our first date in East Croydon, where I was working at the time. We’ve been together for 7 years, and most of which was spent living in different parts of the UK due to Dave’s career as a pilot. Dave finally got a transfer to the South of England in 2021, and we were able to buy our first house together so things have finally fallen in to place for us!

When and where did you get engaged?

During a walk along the Thames in Kingston, following a family meal

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

We have chosen a barn with lots of green foliage to keep things casual -we love the relaxed feel of the venue

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing friends and family that have come to share our special day with us

Top Tips!

Having a short engagement has worked wonders with our planning skills and ensuring we’re decisive – if you can have a short engagement, this would be recommended rather than drawing out the planning! It’s amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it!
