Photographs of Alexandra and Steve’s wedding day
The wedding magic started in the morning with Alexandra’s bridal prep at her parents’ place, where the air crackled with excitement. The bridesmaids were buzzing with nervous energy and laughter as they helped Alexandra get prepped for her walk down the aisle. I could immediately tell there was a real connection between everyone and it was true gold being able to capture the story of all the fun and laughter!
Next it was time for their stunning church ceremony in Axminster, where Alexandra and Steve said their vows surrounded by all their loved ones. It was a beautiful mix of solemnity and pure joy on their faces. And let me tell you, the confetti tunnel exit was epic! The sheer joy on everyone’s faces and the vast amounts of confetti was truly unforgettable.
Kingston Maurward College became the perfect backdrop for the reception that followed. Lush greenery, stunning architecture, and a vibrant atmosphere. Throughout the afternoon they had games on the lawns including large bubble wands for the kids for some lighthearted fun! Capturing the group photos was a blast, as I aimed to get those genuine smiles and laughter from their amazing family and friends.
Then came the speeches, which were heartfelt and filled with stories that made everyone feel warm and fuzzy inside. This was also a great chance to capture some candid photos of people enjoying themselves and those heartwarming connections between loved ones.
To finish my coverage, I stole Alexandra and Steve outside in the wonderful grounds for some intimate romantic portraits of them both in a super relaxed setting which was a pure joy to document!
