A Luxurious Wedding at Botleys Mansion
A Surrey Wedding
Picture this: sunshine, a sprinkle of magic, and two lovebirds saying “I do” in a jaw-dropping Surrey mansion. Yep, that’s what went down at Dawn and Alastair’s wedding at the dreamy Botleys Mansion, and let me tell you, it was epic!

Photographs of Dawn and Alastair’s wedding day
The day kicked off at the posh Foxhills Resort, before they both made their way to the majestic Botleys Mansion for the final bits of wedding prep. Talk about setting the scene for a seriously stylish celebration! The ceremony itself unfolded in the mansion’s Green Room, where intimate vibes met grand architecture. As Dawn and Alastair exchanged vows, their family and friends looked on with huge smiles before they shared their first kiss as newlyweds.
After the ceremony, things moved outdoors, where guests soaked up the summer sun and the joyful vibes. Laughter and cheers filled the air as everyone clinked glasses and celebrated the newlyweds’ love story. One of the best moments (and trust me, there were many!) was when Dawn and Alastair got showered in confetti at the bottom of the grand outdoor staircase, surrounded by their loved ones. It was pure magic, like something straight out of a fairytale!
The couple took a short time together on a short drive which gave me some great time to capture some candid shots of their guests enjoying their cocktails. Upon their return it was time for some group photos at the front of the mansion before I whisked the couple away for a short photo session where I also gave them a chance to check out their reception which was stylishly put together in the Atrium. The revelry continued with a scrumptious wedding breakfast, where heartfelt speeches had everyone laughing and crying in equal measure.
With the sun setting, we managed to get outside once again for an intimate couples portrait session in the mansion’s grounds, it was a truly gorgeous shoot with the golden hour light.
But the party didn’t stop there! As night fell, guests returned to the dance floor, for Dawn and Alastair to cut their cake before taking their first dance as a married couple. It was then time for everyone to bust out their best moves to the live music featuring an awesome saxophone player.
Before the day wrapped up, we snuck outside for some twilight photos. Utilising the ornate fountain and the amazing architecture of the mansion, I captured a stunning silhouette of the couple to give them both something truly unique from their day, plus I have since then been fortunate to receive a coveted Flashmasters award from this photo!
Being there to witness Dawn and Alastair’s wedding day unfold at Botleys Mansion was more than just a job; it was an absolute privilege.
