About Me

I’m Alex and I’m a South East wedding photographer based in Eastbourne and I cover weddings throughout East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire. I will also cover the rest of the UK and even destination weddings around the world!

I share my wonderful home with my wife Catherine, my 2 cheeky monster kids Aiden and Caitlin and our equally as cheeky cat Simba. We got married on 1st April 2011 (I know April Fools Day) and it truly was one of the best days of my life!

My favourite things in the world are skiing and running, and when I’m not shooting weddings you’ll find me chilling on the sofa with my amazing family. I’m a huge coffee lover – especially Starbucks Flat Whites and I couldn’t get through a day without my Nespresso machine!

I was a medic in the British Army for 23 1/2 years which gave me some amazing experiences throughout the world and allowed me to meet some amazing people throughout my career. Through my military connection, I have been become a trusted Military wedding photographer capturing military weddings throughout the UK

I couldn’t live without my friends and family, coffee and my camera. I spend a lot of time out taking photos and nothing makes me happier than meeting new people.

My love of people is what got me into wedding photography. I’ve been a wedding photographer for over 8 years and it’s just the best job ever. The best thing about being a wedding photographer is that I get to take awesome photos and meet loads of new people and shoot people in love.

My couples love good photography, and the last thing they want is a photographer who is super cheesy and makes them pose all day.

For me my favourite bit about a wedding day is the party, because everyone’s a bit tipsy and has forgotten about me and my camera.

Your wedding is all about marrying your best friend. You don’t care about worrying about the little things that don’t matter or ugly chair covers – you just want to have an awesome time with your favourite people.
