Greenwich Park Engagement Shoot

May and John’s Pre Wedding shoot in Greenwich Park

I loved capturing May and John’s engagement photography at Greenwich Park.  Like me, May and John share a love for this royal London Park.  And what’s not to love?  It has spectacular views of the river Thames, an amazing mix of 17th century landscaped gardens and a rich history dating right back to roman times.  And if that’s not enough, Green Park is at the heart of the Greenwich Maritime World Heritage Site making it home to the iconic Old Naval College.

I met up with May and John on an Autumn Day and despite the weather being a little overcast it stayed dry.  May and John were really great to work with we started with a little stroll through ancient tree avenues and the tranquil flower, herb and rose gardens.  Stopping only for some romantic portrait images and for a game of leaf throwing!

Every season brings its own character, but what I love about Autumn engagement shoots is that autumn leaves always add another element of colour and in May and John’s case fun too!

Experienced Greenwich Park Engagement photographer

Engagement photography is increasing in popularity.  Some couples choose to have an engagement shoot as they often say that they feel uncomfortable being photographed or that they never like pictures of themselves.  An engagement shoot is an opportunity to fix all of these worries.  So that it won’t be an issue on their wedding day.  It’s a chance for them to get used to me photographing them and if they need it, I can give them tips to help them to be more comfortable in front of the camera.

I also got some really lovely romantic portrait images of May and John as well.  My favourite being the image of them in front of the Old Naval College. It’s a gorgeous shot of them and it has perfect symmetry.  Here, take a look!

For London engagement photography, I always opt for a natural unposed look of a couple just out walking around somewhere they love just enjoying one another’s company.  This allows couples to relax and gives me the most authentic images that my clients are always thrilled with.

Award winning engagement photography at Greenwich Park

Many of my previous engagement shoot couples go on to use the images in their wedding stationery for invitations, guest books and thank you cards.

May and John are getting married at Hampton Court House in August 2022, another iconic London location! And I will be there to capture it.   I think I’m looking forward to it as much as they are.

If you’re planning your wedding and would like to invest in an engagement shoot then feel free to get in touch.  I’d love to talk to you about how we can work together to create beautiful and timeless images of you and your partner – that I promise you’ll love!
