Immy and Callum Wedding at Wellington Barn, Wiltshire

I always love it when I get to be a Wellington Barn wedding photographer.  Immy and Callum chose the perfect venue for their Autumn wedding in Wiltshire.  Wellington Barn is a gorgeous wedding venue in rural Wiltshire.  A rustic barn wedding venue and a blank canvas that allowed Immy and Callum to create their own bespoke wedding day just the way they wanted it. 

On the day, I got caught up with Immy and her bridal party in Chippenham.  She and her bridal party were in high spirits and they’d hired a refurbished old church that had been reimagined into a house.  It made a fantastic setting for those all-important bridal prep images. 

Immy looked amazing in a beautifully fitted dress in vintage lace that skimmed her petite figure and had a gorgeous train at the bottom giving her an exquisite silhouette in all of my images of her.  Immy beamed all day long (us Wiltshire wedding photographers do love a smiley bride) Immy’s hair and make-up was immaculate thanks to the talented Claire Guy. 

I must also mention Immy’s bouquet which was a perfect blend of wild flowers in autumnal colours.  It, and all the other flowers on the day, were the clever creations of Wincanton florist Lillies Rose.

I grabbed a quick image of Immy and her dad ready to be driven to church in the sweetest vintage fiat 500 car before heading there myself to catch up with Callum before the wedding ceremony. 

Callum was in good spirits and in the safe hands of best man Mark.  The wedding ceremony was held in Wellington Barn’s Old Barn, a rustic barn with oak beams adorned with fairy lights giving it a cosy and magical vibe.  Immy was walked down the aisle by her dad.   

After a lovely ceremony there was time for a fun confetti moment outside and a few group images.  Then, as Immy and Callum’s guests enjoyed a drinks reception, I quickly whisked them off for a few minutes for a mini photoshoot around the beautiful gardens of Wellington Barn.  The weather was dry but generally overcast but I made the most of the moments of sunshine to get some great images.  Immy and Callum were a dream to work with and their photoshoot was my favourite part of the day.  The image of them walking with the vast Wiltshire countryside behind them is one of my favourite images of the day.  Here, take a look!

We then joined their guests back at the Barn for an amazing wedding reception.  Now, one of the many reasons why I love being a Wellington Barn wedding photographer is because of the food.  Wellington Barn have their own onsite caterers.  The award-winning Epic caterers created a bespoke menu for Immy and Callum’s wedding that was warm and delicious, creating a fantastic laid back rustic vibe throughout the wedding meal.

The speeches were really good and were very well delivered by Immy’s dad Paul, by Callum and by best man Mark. 

Immy is an airhostess and loves all things air travel, so wowed the guests with the most brilliant flying fireworks display.  The fireworks were launched off of two aircraft!  And as if this wasn’t enough, everybody also enjoyed a sparkler serenade.  I love sparklers at weddings, as they create such a magical moment for fun evening images.  Here, take a look!

Evening celebrations then moved to the bar as Immy and Callum enjoyed an intimate first dance.  And it was the image of them dancing, with their loved ones around them, that seemed like the right one to close the story of their wedding day. 

A fun, laidback wedding full of love and laughter for this lovely couple.  Congratulations to Immy and Callum for getting married and creating such an amazing day.  And thank you for having me there to tell the story of it with beautiful and timeless images.  I had the best time.
