I usually arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony to capture those all-important getting-ready moments.

Of course! Horsley Towers is perfect for this as the honeymoon suite and the groom’s prep area are close enough for me to capture both. I’ll coordinate with you beforehand to plan the best timing, so nothing gets missed. It’s always special to document both sides of the story. If you would like both preps fully captured, you can always consider booking a 2nd photographer with your package.

Wedding party’s get to enjoy exclusive use of the venue, allowing me to take full advantage of the endless photographic opportunities.  When I capture wedding photography at Horsley Estate, I love taking images in the enchanting cloisters.  Once used by noble ladies to parade their dresses, the cloisters today remain the perfect backdrop for you to parade yours!

I also love taking my couples on mini photoshoots around the magnificent lakeside gardens and grounds that are perfect for those all-important romantic portrait images.

Where can you get ready at Horsley Towers?

For preparations in the morning, Horsley Towers offers a range of rooms with the De Vere Suite being a large room ideal for Bridal prep. For grooms the Towers Junior suite makes for an amazing room for groomsman to get ready in!

What are the ceremony options at Horsley Towers?

One of the many reasons why I love capturing wedding photography at Horsley Towers is its awe-inspiring interiors.  Whether you choose to get married in the dramatic Great Hall with its vaulted ceiling and oak panelled walls, or in the utterly magical secret chapel with its beautifully tiled cloisters, or in the elegant Sopwith Suite with its period features and timeless décor.  You can be sure of a truly unique and enchanting setting that will really wow your guests. 

What are the Reception options at Horsley Towers?

Drinks receptions can be enjoyed al fresco on the lakeside lawns and terrace or in the beautiful chandeliered oak panel walled Tower Bar.  

Wedding breakfasts are usually held in the Great Hall or the Sopwith Suite though there are smaller rooms available for more intimate weddings. 

As the sun goes down, the perfect space for your evening celebration is the impressive Sir Charles Barry room which is adjoined to the Tower Bar so is the perfect place for a party

How many guests can attend a wedding at Horsley Towers?

For both civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts, Horsley Towers can host up to 130 guests and up to 250 for evening receptions.
