Nymans is like a big, beautiful photo album just waiting to be filled. Imagine snapping pics in the rose gardens, where the colors pop and everything feels super romantic. Then, there are these awesome old oak trees that look really grand and cool. Want something chill? The lakeside is perfect for those quiet, cozy shots.

If you’re up for a bit of adventure, we can explore the Wall Garden with its fancy plants, secret paths, and cool stone archways, not to mention the amazing views of the Sussex countryside. Where can you get ready near Nymans?

There are some really cute hotels and B&Bs just around the corner from Nymans that are perfect for getting ready on your big day. Picture yourself getting into your dress with a view of the Sussex countryside, having a giggle with your bridesmaids among the lavender, or maybe sipping a little pre-ceremony drink with your other half on a sunny terrace. It’s all up to you, and I’ll be there to snap all those fun, behind-the-scenes moments.

My number one recommendation is East Lodge Cottage which is just a short 5 min drive away from Nymans. This grade 2 cottage serves as a cosy space for you and your Bridesmaids to get ready in ample space plus relax and unwind the night before!

Alternatively, Cottesmore Hotel is only an 8 min drive, plus the nearby town of Crawley has a number of hotels that will suit many budgets!

What are the ceremony options at Nymans?

Nymans has a beautiful Italian-style Loggia that’s just perfect for an outdoor wedding, this gothic building with arches covered in roses, is sat right in the middle of the Sunk Garden. It’s pretty and intimate, great for ceremonies with about 30 guests. But if you’re thinking bigger, no worries – there’s heaps of room for an unlimited number of additional guests on the secluded lawns.

And when it’s time to wrap up the ceremony, get ready for that awesome moment walking through a shower of confetti from your cheering friends and family, leading right into your drinks reception. It’s going to be amazing!

Tying the knot in a National Trust garden is pretty cool because you can swing by the exact spot where you exchanged your vows whenever you feel like it, any time of the year. No need to book or anything, just show up and take a stroll down memory lane.

If you’re keen to check out dates and book a registrar for your big day, just hit up the Sussex Ceremonies Team at their website: www.westsussex.gov.uk.

Need some extra chairs or tables? No problem. Place Settings Event Hire has got you covered. You can reach them at www.placesettingseventhire.co.uk.

And for making the Loggia look even more beautiful with flowers, give Church’s Florist a ring at 01444 400010. They’d love to chat about sprucing up your space!

What are the reception options at Nymans?

The Sunk Garden is just the spot for kicking back with some champagne and canapés after your ceremony, where you and your guests can hang out and celebrate, plus it’s great for those must-have group photos. And for the reception? You’ve got the option of the Riding House Tea-room, a gorgeously restored 1920s stable block we’ve fixed up, keeping original features of the building for a warm and cosy feel.

Inside, there’s room for 85 guests to sit down comfortably, or 130 if you’re up for a more stand-up vibe. Plus, there’s this extra mezzanine level that can fit another 44 seated guests. Outside the restaurant, there’s a private courtyard that’s all yours for the day.

And hey, if you want to bring your own canapés, go for it. Plus there is no corkage fee if you want to bring your own drinks! The best part? The place is all yours – you’ll be the only wedding happening there and you can celebrate night away up until 11.30pm!

How much does it cost to get married at Nymans?

Wedding fees at Nymans vary depending on the date, ceremony location, and reception options. I recommend contacting the dedicated wedding team for a personalized quote and to discuss your vision. Hire of the Loggia and its secluded lawns is available at £1700.
