HOW LONG DO YOU SHOOT FOR ON THE DAY?
I start coverage with bridal preparations, and go right through to the evening’s celebrations. This is typically 10-12 hours coverage on the day.
DO WE HAVE THE COPYRIGHT ON THE IMAGES?
You have a license to print and share your photographs. The full copyright is retained by me. All that means is that you can’t sell, modify or enter the photographs in competitions.
WHAT IF YOU’RE UNWELL ON THE DAY?
To date I have never missed a photography job, of any kind, from illness or injury and touch wood I never will. But if the worst should happen, I have a network of awesome photographers I can call on to ensure your day is covered without issue.
HOW MANY PHOTO’S WILL WE GET?
There is no limit to the amount of shots I would take on your wedding day, but I would estimate to provide you with a minimum of 400-500 images of what I believe to be the best representation of your day. Quality over quantity really is the best option!
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Maximum four weeks after your wedding day. I will post a teaser photo within 48 hours of your wedding followed by a few favourites within a week so you have something to share with your friends and family.
DO YOU TAKE FORMAL GROUP PHOTOS?
I believe group photos are an important way to capture people together who may not find themselves together again. For formal group photos, I take them as quickly and efficiently as possible so that you can enjoy the rest of your day! I like to make group portraits as fun as possible so that everyone is relaxed and this helps to capture natural smiles and laughter!
WHAT CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I currently use a Sony A9 and an A7R3. I switched from Nikon to Sony last year and I absolutely love how these cameras give me the opportunity to capture images more creatively! I most often use prime lenses like the Sony 35mm 1.4 and 85mm f1.4 GM. For couple portraits I love to get my Sigma 135 1.8 out for some stunning portraits and my Sony 24 1.4 GM comes out for the dance floor.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?
Travel is included within 100 miles of Salisbury. I am very happy to travel further to photograph your wedding either in the UK or abroad but travel expenses may be incurred.
DO YOU SHOOT DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Definitely! There is a £500 additional fee for European weddings to cover flights and accommodation. Outside the EU a bespoke quote can be put together for you.
DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU ON THE BIG DAY?
I really appreciate it if you can. It’s a long day and some form of warm food goes a long way. However, if it’s not possible I fully understand and I will sort myself out!
ARE YOU INSURED?
I sure am! Public liability and professional indemnity.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
To secure your date, I’ll send you a quote which contains an invoice where you can choose the package you wish to book. At the time of booking I ask for a £300 non refundable deposit and a signed online contract, this secures the date for your wedding. The final balance is due two weeks before the wedding date. Payment can be made by bank transfer or by Debit card. Online orders for photographs and vouchers can be paid for with credit and debit cards and Paypal.
