I usually arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony to capture those all-important getting-ready moments. Highley Manor’s bridal suite offers stunning natural light, which is perfect for documenting the excitement, details, and candid moments with your bridal party.

Of course! Highley Manor is perfect for this as the bridal suite and the groom’s prep area are close enough for me to capture both. I’ll coordinate with you beforehand to plan the best timing, so nothing gets missed. It’s always special to document both sides of the story. If you would like both preps fully captured, you can always consider booking a 2nd photographer with your package.

What are the ceremony options at Farnham Castle?

The wedding team at Farnham Castle offer something for everybody.  With the flexibility to cater for weddings from tiny elopements through to grand celebrations.  They offer four unique indoor locations licensed to hold a civil ceremony, two on-site chapels for couples looking for a religious ceremony and several options for an outdoor ceremony. 

So whether you choose to walk down the aisle in the charming Lantern Hall, or the period charm of the Winchester Suite, or pared back elegance of the library or majestic Great Hall or choose a traditional ceremony in one of the two atmospheric on site chapels.

When I capture wedding photography at Farnham Castle, I love capturing outdoor ceremonies.  You can choose to say ‘I do’ under the arch on the Fox’s Steps, on the magnificent Great Lawn, or on the East Lawn near the Rose Garden.  With the castle as your backdrop, you couldn’t imagine a more beautiful setting. 

What are the reception options at Farnham Castle?

The Great Hall, The Lantern Room, The Winchester Suite and the Library are perfect spaces for your wedding reception, with the Great Hall able to accommodate up to 200 guests, making Farnham Castle the perfect venue for large, Asian and African weddings. 

Even if you choose to have your ceremony indoors you can enjoy your drinks reception on the Great Lawn, and with exclusive use your guests will have the freedom to really explore this iconic wedding venue. 

The Tindle Bar oozes period charm and comfort and is the perfect location for an intimate wedding celebration or for guests to convene in before a wedding ceremony. 

When it comes to food, the talented in-house chefs work with you to create a menu that will wow your guests.  Sourcing the highest quality food locally, where possible from their kitchen garden, they offer everything from fine dining to tasty evening street food.

For both civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts, Farnham Castle can host up to 200 guests in the Great Hall.
