Processing Personal Information
Each time you visit our website www.alexbucklandphotography.co.uk the web server collects and logs certain information. We keep these access logs for a reasonable period of time. These logs include, but are not restricted to: your computer’s TCP/IP address, your username (if applicable), the date, time and the files and pages accessed. These logs also contain information about referrer information, such as if you clicked on an external link in order to access a www.alexbucklandphotography.co.uk webpage. We use these logs solely for performance, site administration and security reviews. We do not sell or share this information with any third party.
Data Storage and Security
Alex Buckland Photography has implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure the most complete protection of personal information, to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of this data. However, Internet-based data transmissions may in principle have security gaps, so absolute protection may not be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transfer personal data to us via alternative means, e.g. by telephone. All stored personal digital data is secured via alphanumerically unique login and password information. This security information is never written down or reused elsewhere to ensure secure processing and management of your data.
The length of time your data is securely stored for varies depending on the nature of the data itself: payment, contact and event-specific information is stored long enough to complete the event itself and tax returns etc, with a cooling off period of 3 years should any queries or disputes arise. Alex Buckland Photography agrees, with the express permissions of clients via an opt-in system, as part of a signed model release, to keep an archive of final image products for a minimum of 5 years for promotional and marketing material on this website, across social media and other locations. Alex Buckland Photography agrees to honour the clients right to total privacy, should they wish to not have their images used for promotional material.
