A beautiful Summer Wedding at Pentre Mawr Country House | North Wales
Pentre Mawr Country House Wedding Photography
Rachel & Gwyn, St Cynfran Church and Pentre Mawr Country House
A beautiful venue, Pentre Mawr Country House in North Wales is a 18th Century Manor House surrounded by masses of beautiful open countryside and a truly romantic place to get married.
I had the privilege to photograph Rachel and Gwyn’s wedding day at Pentre Mawr as a second photographer working alongside my fellow pro wedding photographer Phillip French.
We started off capturing the Bridal and Groom preparations at Pentre Mawr, also the setting for the reception, Rachel and her bridal party getting ready in a small guest house with Gwyn getting ready in the African Safari Lodge set in the County House gardens.
The marriage itself was at St Cynfran church, a short drive away in the picturesque Colwyn Bay. After a lovely ceremony, with Gwyn being a Naval Reserve Officer he was honoured to have an honour guard and the traditional kiss to be allowed through.
On to the reception, a speedy drive back to Pentre Mawr back in the gardens and a chance to take the newlyweds off for some portraits. I truly love capturing these type of images with the newly married couple that allow for natural laughter and tender moments in a relaxed manner and I pride myself in capturing every bit of it in an authentic way.
This was followed by some family and friend shots, some magnificent birds of prey on display followed by an entertaining evening of fun and laughter through the speeches and first dance.
So enough from me, time to check out these highlights from Rachel and Gwyn’s wonderful wedding in Pentre Mawr Country House.
