Best of 2025
2025 has been another standout year. Full of weddings that felt real, personal, and unforgettable. I saw quiet first looks that stopped everything for a moment. I heard speeches that had rooms laughing one second and tearing up the next. Every day told a different story, and no two celebrations felt the same.
This year took me to brilliant venues and introduced me to couples who truly cared about the people around them. The connections mattered. The emotions were honest. That is always what stays with me long after the day is over.
It has been another record year. One I am genuinely proud of. Let’s take a look at the highlights and the numbers that shaped 2025.

2025 was another strong year for my little business, busy in the best possible way and full of weddings that felt genuinely personal. The year started quietly, with time spent planning, refining workflows, and getting ready for the season ahead. Those slower winter months always matter. They set the tone for everything that follows.
Wedding season picked up pace quickly and stayed there. From early spring through late autumn, I was on the road most weekends, photographing weddings across Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and beyond. Each one brought something different. New venues. New stories. New energy. That variety is something I never take for granted.
This year felt especially settled. With the move to East Sussex behind us, life and work found a better rhythm. Being based by the coast made a real difference, both creatively and personally. Fewer long drives home. More balance between work and family. And a renewed appreciation for why I chose this path in the first place. Plus I got myself really into shape with loads of running, entering several races throughout the year which has given me a great level of fitness to tackle those long wedding days!
As always, the heart of the year was the couples. Getting to know them, hearing their plans, and then watching everything come together on the day is still the part I love most. From calm mornings and emotional first looks, to packed dance floors and late-night moments that only happen once the ties are loosened, every wedding had its own story to tell.
There were plenty of highlights. Beautiful outdoor ceremonies. Confetti moments that turned into chaos in the best way. Speeches that had everyone laughing, then quietly wiping away tears. And portraits that happened in five spare minutes but ended up being some of the most meaningful images of the day.
None of this happens in isolation. I was lucky again to work alongside so many talented suppliers who care deeply about what they do. When everyone pulls in the same direction, the day flows better for the couple, and it shows in the photos.
Most of all, I’m grateful. Grateful to every couple who trusted me with their wedding day. Grateful to be doing work that still excites me after all these years. And grateful for another year of telling real stories, exactly as they happened.
Thank you to everyone who was part of 2025. Your weddings are the reason this job never feels routine. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.

Shoutouts and Thank you’s
First, thank you to my wife, Catherine. Your support never wavers, especially through the late nights and long weekends. I could not do this without you. And to Aiden and Caitlin, you are the best part of coming home. Every single time.
A big thank you to Paul from Burton Media. We worked together on a lot of weddings again this year, and it always felt easy. You bring calm, creativity, and a shared approach that couples really value. I am grateful to call you both a trusted collaborator, riding buddy and brother from another mother, looking forward to working together on many a wedding over the next few years and a few more European motorcycle trips!
And finally, thank you to the second shooters who supported me throughout the year. Caroline and Simon, your work, reliability, and eye for moments made a real difference on busy wedding days. I truly appreciate it.
Here’s to what’s ahead and to another strong year of weddings in 2026!
