Morning Prep at the Georgian House

The day began in true Boconnoc style—light pouring into beautifully styled rooms as Ellen and her bridesmaids got ready in the main house. There’s something so special about mornings like this, filled with laughter, calm nerves, and those quiet, fleeting moments before the day really begins.

Meanwhile, Jack, proudly wearing his Full No.1 Naval uniform, was just up the corridor, preparing for the day ahead. The military wedding touches always add an air of elegance and tradition, and Jack wore it all with pride.

A Church Ceremony Full of Emotion

The ceremony took place in the estate’s very own church, just a short stroll from the house. Surrounded by family and friends, Ellen and Jack exchanged vows in a setting that felt intimate, sacred, and deeply personal. There’s something about walking from prep to ceremony on foot that slows everything down and makes it all feel even more meaningful.

Confetti, Shetland Ponies & That Guard of Honour

Once the newlyweds emerged into the sunshine, they were met with a burst of confetti, followed by a classic Royal Navy guard of honour—a truly unforgettable moment that always adds a touch of ceremony and heritage. And as if that wasn’t enough, Ellen and Jack’s Shetland ponies made a surprise appearance to say hello, much to everyone’s delight.

Speeches and Ceilidh Magic

The reception flowed perfectly into the afternoon, with guests soaking up the Cornish sunshine before heading inside for dinner and speeches. The toasts were filled with humour and heart, the kind that make your cheeks ache from smiling behind the lens.

And the evening? A full-on Ceilidh dance party that was nothing short of electric. Ceilidhs are always fun to photograph—whirling skirts, linked arms, and a dance floor full of people having the time of their lives. Ellen and Jack threw themselves into it, and so did their guests. Pure joy, start to finish.
